Claire Padmore: Powered by Passion, Supported by Home Telecom, Fuelled by Pure Adrenaline 

Some people spend their weekends doing the food shop or running round after the kids. And then there’s Claire Padmore, who decided her free time would be better spent racing cars at Silverstone. 

Here at Home Telecom, we fully support this kind of life choice.

From cheering in the paddock to the track 

After 21 years of standing trackside, supporting her husband Nick and watching more motorsport than most of us have had hot dinners, Claire thought: 
“Hang on… this looks quite fun. Maybe I’ll give it a go.” 

So she did what any sensible person would do: 
She suited up, strapped in and joined the BRSCC Mazda MX-5 Championship for her very first competitive race. 

At Silverstone! 

“It was such a rush,” Claire told us. “I thought I’d just do one race… but apparently that’s not how this works! I can’t wait for more.”

Before revving her very first racing engine, Claire asked if Home Telecom might help her get started. And because we’re big fans of people chasing brilliant, brave, “oh-go-on-then-why-not” moments, we said absolutely yes. 

And we’re so glad we did.
