Why am I transferring to Home Telecom?
Origin has now exited the market, and while there was initially a plan to move your broadband and home phone services to Utility Warehouse, this couldn’t be completed due to a technical limitation on the network at your property.
To make sure your service continues without interruption, your account has now been moved to us at Telecom Acquisitions Ltd and is being looked after under our Home Telecom brand — something we specialise in, having successfully supported over 24 acquisitions just like yours, with a 4.6 star Trustpilot rating from over 18,000 reviews, which makes us one of the highest in the industry.
When am I transferring?
We will start managing your service from the 1st April 2026.
Home Telecom is the only provider to offer 24/7 365 days a year technical support to our customers we know your broadband isn’t 9-5! Our SupportPlus gives you peace of mind that if you ever do need support day or night, we’ve got you covered for just £3.50 per month and we’ll even take care of certain engineer fees! Do I need to do anything as part of the change?
No, just sit back and relax, we will do all the heavy lifting and you can continue to enjoy your current broadband supply, package and price knowing this will stay the same.
What if I don’t want to transfer?

What happens to my payments?
Your package price will remain the same, and starting from 1st April 2026, “Home Telecom” will appear on your bank statement. While we aim to keep changes minimal, your billing and payment collection date may vary slightly.
